Beveren has 8 submunicipalities, each with its own pearls of landscapes and monuments. Cycle along the many rolling fields, centuries-old castles, and the newest hotspots of the Waasland. Be sure to also discover the many regional products that the different villages have to offer you.

Bicycle rental

Would you like to discover the beautiful Waasland by bike? That's possible! You can use your own bike and you can always charge your electric bikes with us. Additionally, you can always turn to our bike rental! Our bicycle rental is exclusively for hotel guests. For only €15.00 p.p. per day you can use our comfortable bicycles! We also have some electric bicycles at disposal, these are already available for rent from €30.00 p.p. per day. A deposit of €50.00 per bicycle is required.

Chapel Route 63 km

Beveren is known as a municipality with a large number of chapels, with more than 50 to be found! Each with a unique appearance. Many can be found south of the expressway, thus you cross Beveren, Melsele, Haasdonk, Vrasene & Kallo!

Sint-Annekesroute 33 km

Would you prefer to enjoy the beautiful panorama of Antwerp and the Scheldt? Then this route is really something for you! It leads you past Cortewalle Castle and the south of Melsele to Galgenweel on the Left Bank. Here you will find some nice bars to take a short break. Or you can also rest for a while on the beach of Sint-Anneke. Enjoy the beautiful view on the banks of the Scheldt and cycle back to Beveren via the Zwijndrechtse polders and the north of Melsele.

Strawberry Route 25 km

When you mention Melsele, you think of the fantastic strawberries! A ride along the beautiful quiet roads and fields that this lovely village has to offer. Craving freshly picked strawberries? Stop by one of the stalls in the season. They proudly sell their 'airbezen.'

Harbor and nature cycling route 32 km

Looking for a fun bike route that shows you both some nature and harbor gems? Then this 32 km long journey is just for you! This route departs from Beveren along the kilometer-long Schelde to the artistic village of Doel. Take a short break here and discover the nice little restaurant at the Scheldemolen. After a short visit to Doel, head into the polders of Kieldrecht and Prosperpolder and enjoy the beautiful green areas that the Waasland has to offer you!

Bicycle route along Waasland port 47 km

This cycling route showcases Havenland at its best! Cycle along some stunning views of the docks, where you can literally see the world economy pass by. For enthusiasts, this route has something special in store as it takes you to the largest lock in the world! Additionally, you will also cycle through the mysterious and artistic Doel. A visit to this village will linger with you forever! You can finish off by enjoying a drink in the cafeteria at Fort Liefkenshoek, which is also the start and end point of this route.

Prosperpolder route 55 km

With this cycling route, you mainly ride past natural water and forests in polder landscapes. Every place you pass has its own history and is definitely worth exploring. Along the way, you will also encounter art that you can pause to appreciate. You explore areas from Doel to Sint-Gillis-Waas.

Saeftinghe route 49 km

In a large part of this route, you will get acquainted with the Verdronken Land van Saeftinghe. It is one of the largest salt marsh areas in the Netherlands and unique in Europe. You will therefore drive a large part in the Netherlands. Saeftinghe is special because of its vastness and its nature, but also because it gives an impression of the Zeeland primal landscape: a land of mudflats, sandbanks, and marshes intersected with channels. You will also pass by one of the largest locks in the world, the Kieldrecht Lock. You can adjust the route on-site so that you theWaasland Harbor can go exploring.
